Veggie Thanksgiving Essentials

Thanksgiving, or the harvest festival, is a great opportunity to cook a hearty meal to share with family and friends. Traditionally, in addition to stuffing and cranberry sauce, turkey has always taken centre stage, but now with all the great plant-based options out there, we can tuck into a fabulous feast without harming our animal friends.

Every year in Canada, over 20 million turkeys are killed for food, a large number of them for the Thanksgiving and holiday seasons.

Here are a few tasty animal-free dishes you can enjoy this fall!
