\"Print\"Montreal, October 2 2014<\/b> \u2013 Tongues and tails will be wagging furiously on November 6th<\/sup> at the Corona Theatre when the Montreal SPCA launches its first-ever, dog-meets-runway fundraising mega-gala. The goal is to raise $100,000 to help the Montreal SPCA continue its mission for the animals.<\/p>\n

Beasts of Fashion<\/i>, presented by Elle Quebec and the Montreal SPCA will be hosted by animal-lover and\u00a0Quebec television star, Maripier Morin. The evening promises a flurry of furry festivities\u00a0including a preview of the hottest in fall and winter fashions, courtesy of well-known Montreal designers.<\/p>\n

Precocious pooches will be strutting their stuff down the runway alongside their human models. The event will inspire everyone who loves fashion and also shares their compassion for the 145-year old Montreal charity. \u201cAs an animal lover, I am delighted to be associated with the Montreal SPCA for its Beasts of Fashion<\/i> fundraising gala”, says Maripier Morin. “The evening promises to be both memorable and exciting – I invite all those who share my passion for animals to participate in benefit of the Montreal SPCA”, she adds.<\/p>\n

Those who plan to attend should bring their appetite for hors d\u2019oeuvres, drinks, fashion and<\/i> fun as the evening will include great music, a silent auction featuring original items and unique experiences, along with a few less than expected surprises.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, the evening will provide an opportunity for everyone from the business and general community to connect with a local cause they care deeply about. \u201cWe are excited to be announcing Beasts of Fashion<\/i>, an elegant gala where fashion and compassion meet. The evening will be both upbeat and entertaining \u2013 we will see you there!\u201d said Nicholas Gilman, Executive Director of the Montreal SPCA.<\/p>\n
