Although such testing is banned in nearly 40 countries, it remains legal in Canada, where the vast majority of cosmetic products sold on store shelves are not cruelty-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, every year, many rodents and rabbits are subjected to repeated painful tests without anesthesia, which cause them numerous injuries and traumas.
