    • Make sure they\u2019re wearing a quick-release collar<\/b> so that it comes off if they get stuck somewhere.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Equip their collar with a GPS tracker<\/b>\u2014it\u2019s a handy tool for locating your friend!\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>
    • If you move<\/b>, keep your cat indoors for a few days and gradually introduce them to the new surroundings by going out with them the first few times.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Set aside an amount in your budget<\/b> to treat your cat in the event of injury or infection.\u00a0<\/li>
    • If the forecast is for bad weather<\/b>, keep your cat in. The same goes before you head to bed or leave the house.\u00a0<\/li>
