In March 2026, the Montreal SPCA launched “One for You. One for the Animals!” its very first 50/50 draw. This event allows you to support the animals and get a chance to win half the pot!
Well underway, the event has been met with an enthusiastic response. Thanks to our community’s commitment, the grand prize continues to grow!
How does the draw work?
It’s simple: half the amount the Montreal SPCA raises will go to the winner, while the other half goes directly to our protégés at the shelter.
Your entry makes a concrete contribution to:
- Providing veterinary care to sick or injured animals
- Rescuing animals who have been victims of cruelty or neglect
- Finding our shelter animals a forever family

A chance to win throughout the fundraiser!
On top of the grand prize, which will be drawn on May 6, an early-bird prize has been drawn every week.
- A professional photo shoot with your animal
- One of five Lufa Farms produce baskets
- A year’s supply of food for your furry companion
- A subscription to Woof Pack or Purr Pack
- An exclusive golf experience with Maude-Aimée Leblanc
Every entry gives you more chances to win.
Why your entry matters
Every day, the Montreal SPCA takes in animals that need care, time and support on their way to a new life.
Our teams also take on animal neglect and cruelty cases and provide veterinary care to animals whose families can’t otherwise afford it.
A major advocate on the political scene, the SPCA also drives improvements to animal protection legislation and devotes resources to awareness and mobilization campaigns across Quebec.

It also spearheads compassionate education programs, notably through awareness-raising activities in schools.
None of this would be possible without its supporters’ generosity, as over 70% of the SPCA’s activities are paid for by donations.
