Sky est un chien énergique, sensible et profondément affectueux qui cherche une famille prête à lui offrir une vraie seconde chance. À 3 ans, il a beaucoup d'énergie à dépenser et adore bouger, explorer et partager du temps avec ses humains. Ce qu'il aime par-dessus tout ? La proximité, les caresses et les moments calmes avec les personnes en qui il a confiance. Sky trouve son bonheur dans la présence de son humain et dans les petits moments de complicité du quotidien.
Très gourmand, Sky est particulièrement motivé par la nourriture, ce qui fait de lui un excellent candidat pour l'apprentissage et le travail en renforcement positif. Avec de la constance, de la patience et un bon encadrement, il a tout le potentiel pour progresser et s'épanouir pleinement. Petit détail qui fait sourire : Sky n'est pas un grand amateur de neige ou de pluie. Il préfère clairement les belles journées pour profiter de ses promenades.
Sky recherche toutefois un milieu de vie bien précis. Il devra être le seul animal de la maison, car la cohabitation avec d'autres chiens ou des chats n'est pas possible. Il est très réactif envers les chiens et présente aussi des comportements de prédation envers les petits animaux. Sky est sensible aux mouvements brusques, aux cris et à certaines manipulations lorsqu'il est stressé ou excité.
Il peut aussi démontrer de la protection de ressources et aura besoin d'un environnement stable et calme, avec une famille capable de reconnaître ses signaux, respecter ses limites et poursuivre son éducation avec douceur et cohérence.
Sky conviendra à une famille prête à investir dans son bien-être, sa gestion émotionnelle et son entraînement. Derrière ses réactions et ses insécurités se cache un chien profondément loyal, attachant et capable de créer un lien très fort avec son humain.

Sky n'a pas besoin d'un foyer parfait. Il a besoin d'un foyer patient, stable et prêt à lui montrer que la sécurité et l'amour est la meilleure chose qui soit !

At 3 years old, he has plenty of energy to burn and loves to stay active, explore, and spend quality time with his people. What he loves most? Being close to his humans, soaking up affection, and sharing calm, quiet moments with the people he trusts. Sky finds his happiness in companionship and in those simple everyday moments of connection.
Very food-motivated, Sky is highly driven by treats, which makes him an excellent candidate for training and positive reinforcement work. With consistency, patience, and the right guidance, he has all the potential to grow, learn, and truly thrive. One little detail that always makes people smile: Sky is not a fan of snow or rain-he definitely prefers nice weather for his walks.
That said, Sky is looking for a very specific home environment. He will need to be the only animal in the home, as living with other dogs or cats is not an option. He is highly reactive toward other dogs and also shows prey-driven behaviors toward small animals. Sky can be sensitive to sudden movements, loud voices, and certain types of handling when he is stressed or overstimulated.
He may also display resource guarding and will need a stable, calm environment with a family who can recognize his signals, respect his boundaries, and continue his training with patience, kindness, and consistency.
Sky would do best with a family ready to invest in his well-being, emotional regulation, and ongoing training. Behind his reactions and insecurities is a deeply loyal, loving dog capable of building an incredibly strong bond with his person.
Sky doesn't need a perfect home-he needs a patient, stable one, ready to show him that safety and love can be the best things in life.
