Description

Steve est un rat plein d'énergie et de personnalité. Curieux, actif et très joueur, il adore explorer et s'occuper avec des jouets, surtout ceux en bois qu'il peut ronger à volonté. Les casse-têtes alimentaires sont aussi parmi ses activités préférées, puisqu'il est très gourmand!

Steve est toutefois un rat très particulier : il ne s'entend pas avec les autres rats et doit absolument être le seul rat du foyer. Même l'odeur d'un autre rat peut le rendre stressé ou agressif. Il cherche donc une famille prête à lui offrir toute l'attention et l'espace qu'il mérite, dans un environnement où il sera l'unique petit roi.

Lorsqu'il se sent en confiance et qu'il n'y a pas d'odeur d'autres rats, Steve peut être manipulé et se montre même affectueux. Il reconnaît son nom et vient lorsqu'on l'appelle. Il apprécie particulièrement les gratouilles derrière les oreilles et autour du cou, mais préfère qu'on évite de toucher son dos.

Très énergique, Steve aurait aussi besoin de beaucoup de temps hors de sa cage pour se dépenser et explorer. Une famille patiente, attentive et prête à respecter ses particularités sera essentielle pour lui offrir une belle qualité de vie.

Si vous cherchez un petit compagnon unique, intelligent et plein de caractère, Steve pourrait bien être le rat qu'il vous faut!

Steve is a rat full of energy and personality. Curious, active, and very playful, he loves to explore and keep himself busy with toys, especially sturdy wooden ones he can chew on. Food puzzles are also among his favorite activities, since he is quite the foodie!

Steve is, however, a very special rat. He does not get along with other rats and must absolutely be the only rat in the home. Even the scent of another rat can make him stressed or aggressive. He is therefore looking for a family ready to give him all the attention and space he deserves, in an environment where he can truly be the little king of his castle.

When he feels comfortable and there is no scent of other rats around, Steve can be handled and can even be affectionate. He recognizes his name and will come when called. He especially enjoys gentle scratches behind the ears and around the neck, but prefers that his back not be touched.

Very energetic, Steve would also benefit from plenty of time outside of his cage to run around and explore. A patient and attentive family who will respect his unique needs will be key to giving him a great quality of life.
