Tao est un chien énergique, brillant et profondément attachant, qui cherche une personne capable de voir au-delà de son énergie débordante et de ses défis comportementaux. C'est un chien qui aime vivre fort : jouer, apprendre, bouger et partager. Le tug, la balle et les séances d'entraînement font partie de ses plus grands bonheurs, et il s'investit pleinement dans tout ce qu'il fait. Très avancé en obéissance, Tao adore travailler avec son humain et crée des liens forts avec ceux qui prennent le temps de le comprendre.
Derrière son tempérament se cache aussi un chien tendre. Une fois la confiance installée, Tao devient un vrai pot de colle : il aime se blottir contre son humain, s'endormir collé à lui et venir chercher le contact de lui-même. C'est un chien qui aime profondément, mais qui a besoin d'une routine stable pour se sentir bien.
Tao a toutefois des besoins très spécifiques. Il recherche un foyer sans enfants et sans chats, et idéalement sans autres chiens, puisqu'il est réactif envers ses congénères et peut vivre beaucoup de frustration en leur présence.

Tao a besoin d'une famille idéalement habituée aux chiens avec des défis comportementaux, prête à poursuivre son entraînement avec rigueur, patience et renforcement positif. Il a besoin de beaucoup de stimulation physique et mentale au quotidien,et d'une famille capable de bien lire son langage canin et de respecter ses limites.

À noter que pour Tao le port de la muselière est obligatoire uniquement sur l'île de Montréal, conformément aux exigences municipales, et devra continuer à être travaillé de façon positive afin qu'il la porte avec confort et confiance.

Tao a le potentiel de devenir un compagnon incroyablement loyal, intelligent et profondément connecté.

Parfois, les chiens qui demandent le plus d'efforts sont aussi ceux qui ont le plus d'amour à offrir. Tao attend quelqu'un prêt à croire en lui.

Tao is an energetic, intelligent, and deeply lovable dog looking for someone who can see beyond his big energy and behavioral challenges. He's the kind of dog who lives life to the fullest-playing, learning, moving, and connecting. Tug, fetch, and training sessions are some of his greatest joys, and he throws his whole heart into everything he does. Highly advanced in obedience, Tao loves working alongside his person and builds strong bonds with those who take the time to understand him.
Behind his strong personality is also a tender, affectionate dog. Once trust is established, Tao becomes a true velcro dog-he loves curling up beside his person, falling asleep pressed against them, and seeking out affection on his own. He loves deeply, but he needs a stable and predictable routine to feel secure and thrive.
Tao does have very specific needs. He is looking for a home without children or cats, and ideally without other dogs, as he is reactive toward other dogs and can become highly frustrated around them.
Tao would do best with a family experienced with dogs who have behavioral challenges-someone committed to continuing his training with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. He needs plenty of daily physical exercise and mental stimulation, as well as people who can read his body language well and respect his boundaries.
Please note that Tao is required to wear a muzzle only on the island of Montreal, in accordance with municipal regulations. His muzzle training should continue in a positive way so that he remains comfortable and confident wearing it.
With the right guidance, Tao has the potential to become an incredibly loyal, intelligent, and deeply devoted companion.
