DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT BY DECEMBER31

Give for the animals by December 31 and the value of your donation will be doubled*

For 156 years, the Montreal SPCA has acted as a safety net for animals. More than 100,000 animals have come through our doors in the last 10 years alone!

But your impact goes far beyond the walls of our shelter. It serves all animals in Quebec—those in shelters, on the streets, in the forests and in your homes—through actions that help change laws and mindsets.

* One-time donations and the first instalment of new monthly gifts made by midnight on December 31, 2025, will be matched (up to a total of $100,000) by the Bryant-Mapes Fund, managed by the Foundation of Greater Montréal.

Do twice as much good

In this season of sharing, we’re offering an opportunity to make your support go even further! Until December 31, 2025, the Bryant-Mapes Fund will match the value of your donations. Your generosity will have TWICE the impact!

When your $50 donation becomes $100 and your $100 will count for $200, that means that each and every donation will save twice as many animals.*

What is the Bryant-Mapes Fund?

The Fund was created by two dog lovers, Floranna Bryant and Dorothy Mapes, who named the Montreal SPCA as a beneficiary in their wills. The SPCA is infinitely grateful to people, like Ms. Bryant and Ms. Mapes, who include animals in their legacy.

Two peas in a pod

Ben and Jerry’s lives began as an uphill battle. Their mother was in poor shape. She underwent emergency surgery for a prolapsed uterus, while also suffering from severe joint pain caused by breed-related factors. Sadly, she passed away, leaving the kittens orphans from their very first breaths. Our teams stepped up to bottle-feed them at regular intervals, thus ensuring the newborns’ survival. An exceptional bond quickly developed between the two little guys. In fact, their experienced foster family had rarely seen this kind of attachment in other survivors.

The two inseparable brothers shared every moment, down to the simplest things, like going to the litter box! It became clear that this duo should live together, happy x2. So we made sure the brothers were adopted by one family. Now renamed Kilo and Graham, they love spending afternoons curled up together. Clearly, nothing can break their bond.

Thanks to kind-hearted people like you, stories like Kilo and Graham’s can have a happy ending. And they’re living proof that your generosity can make animals happy x2.
