Dairy Cows Need You

The Montreal SPCA has prepared a summary of our five key issues so that you can comment quickly and effectively in your own words!

The comments you submit today will therefore have long-term impacts.

The NFACC Codes of Practice are nationally developed guidelines that set out the minimum acceptable standards for how animals should be raised. NFACC revises its dairy cow Code of Practice approximately every decade (the last version dates to 2009).

You have until January 27, 2022 to submit your personalized comments to improve the welfare of dairy cows and calves! Be sure to check out our summary of the five key issues before participating in the consultation.

Be constructive and polite, as any comments containing offensive or inappropriate language will not be considered by the National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC).
