Montreal SPCA enriched by volunteers

Did you know that a group of prominent volunteer citizens founded the Montreal SPCA in 1869? Ever since, compassion and dedication from passionate animal-lovers have enriched our organization.

We are fortunate to count on 350 volunteers who are at the service of the shelter seven days a week throughout the year. These exceptional individuals wear their heart on their sleeve. On this National Volunteer Week, we would like to take the time to thank and to honour them.

Thanks to their commitment, the animals in the shelter are socialized, comforted, walked, groomed, trained, cared for and above all loved!

A huge thank you to all the Montreal SPCA volunteers: thank you for your help, your generosity and your time. You make a real difference in the lives of animals!
